The Meaning of Life- Mina Akbari and Mr. Luciano

What is the meaning of life?

When people are asked this philosophical question, many claim it is too broad and controversial; but sometimes the questions are difficult, and the answers are simple.
If I have learned anything this school year, it’s that my life is always changing; people come and go, things happen, and every day always brings new surprises. As I grow older, I learn more about myself and who I truly am; that’s just part of living.
My meaning of life is simply to live life to the fullest and explore all of my hidden characteristics. Everyone has that blossoming picture that just keeps morphing and growing, and we can only sit back and wait to see what happens next. Everyday we discover a defining piece of the puzzle that resembles our individuality. In order to arrange the parts in their ideal position, we must devote a lifetime of patience and determination. In the end, the completed picture reflects our uniqueness and fulfills the meaning of our lives.

There is no one true meaning of life. Our lives are unique to ourselves, like snowflakes, no one is exactly alike. I believe we should think of our existence as we would a play. To understand the meaning of our life, we must each look at what we value in the world (the stage) and create a character (our personality) that models our belief system. Then, we enter the play (life itself) to act out our part before the play ends.
